“Now, that has to cool and you have to edit,”

…I said, to myself just now. “That” being jam, which I’ve heated up to liquify it, to sweeten some kombucha that I’ve made, before I bottle it.

I’m so busy making pills, ferments, teas and potions that the editing, as ever, is taking a back seat. Didn’t get any done yesterday or the day before. And you, dear reader, will never get to see this story if I don’t get on with editing it, so edit it I must.

So far, today, I’ve filled 300 empty gelatine capsules with bee pollen and lion’s mane and done the kombucha. Delivered some pills to relatives, taxied an offspring to work, almost done the kombucha. Done some political research (nothing to do with the History Maps) and had a Zoom chat with a friend. Watered the plants. Cleared a shelf, to make room for more herbalism.

All nice and busy and getting things done. But not editing, which I MUST do now.
